Tuition Deposit Payment

A tuition deposit is required to secure your seat in a program after you've received an offer of admission. The deposit will be applied to your account and will be used as a credit for your first-semester tuition payment. Your tuition deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you're offered admission to a program, your tuition deposit is due 30 days after the offer is made.

  • Canadian citizens, permanent residents and refugees: $750 tuition deposit
  • International students: $1,750 tuition deposit
  • Academic Upgrading students: $250 tuition deposit

SAIT will consider refunding the tuition deposit less a $250 administration fee under certain circumstances only.

Payment options

You can pay your tuition deposit by phone, in-person or by mail.

International students

If you'd like to wire transfer your payment, please contact the SAIT International Centre.

By phone

Contact the Office of the Registrar at 403.284.7248 or toll-free at 1.877.284.7248 during regular business hours.

Please have your SAIT ID number and your credit card (VISA or Mastercard).

In-person

Debit and credit card payments can be made at the Office of the Registrar, located on the second floor of Heritage Hall.

All payment options can be made at Finance Cashiers office, located on the second floor of the Stan Grad Centre, MC201.

By mail

Payment by cheque, bank draft or money order can be made by mail (must be received by the deadline). Make the funds payable to SAIT and include your full name and SAIT ID number.
