SAIT offers testing services for prospective students seeking admission into full-time, apprenticeship and pre-employment programs at SAIT. Admission tests are good for SAIT admissions only and don't change your high school transcripts.
The Admissions Exams are moving towards an online format. Please refer to the SAIT admissions guide for information surrounding:
- minimum grade requirements
- study materials and guides
- SAIT admissions exam list
- how to book an exam, either paper-based or computer-based
- helpful tips on reserving your exam spot and policies
SAIT doesn't provide study guides for admission exams. If you are taking an admission exam for high school equivalency, please refer to the Alberta Diploma Exam Guides for similar study materials. If you are taking an entrance exam for apprenticeship or pre-employment programs at SAIT, please refer to the AIT Study Guide for a generalized idea of what to expect on the exam.
These study guides may not cover all the material on the exam. For more recommended resources, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Admission exams cannot be booked during SAIT final exam periods. The online seat booking system will be unavailable during these times. Applicants requesting prerequisite testing must be over 17 years of age before the date of registration.
Pursue new career opportunities by enrolling in SAIT's Academic Upgrading courses in English, mathematics and the sciences. Offered during the day, evening and online, Academic Upgrading courses help you gain entry into SAIT programs and may also be accepted for admission by other Alberta post-secondary educational institutions. Learn more about Academic Upgrading at SAIT.
English is the language of instruction in all programs at SAIT and is the common language for business in Alberta. Applicants must meet the minimum English Language Arts admission requirement for the program they apply to and demonstrate English language proficiency. Learn more about English Proficiency at SAIT.
