SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee station upgrades underway
Upgrades at the SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee station are expected to be complete by December 2017.
Calgary Transit has begun upgrades the SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee station to improve accessibility, lighting, safety, communications and more. Construction is expected to be complete by December 2017.
During this time, service will not be interrupted and the station platform will remain open. The platform can only be accessed through the northwest entrance.
The station head is currently closed, including the plus 15 access from Campus Centre. Calgary Transit aims to open the station head in September for students returning to classes at SAIT and ACAD. However, the exact opening date is still to be determined.
- new flooring, stairs and handrails
- improved lighting
- new CCTV cameras to improve safety and security
- upgrades to electrical and communication systems
