Dr. Joanne Todesco
Dr. Joanne Todesco has served in a number of executive post-secondary roles throughout her career, and is the recipient of several teaching and administrative awards. Her background includes leadership positions in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, academic and complaints tribunals, and accreditation teams.
Dr. Todesco has served as associate dean for postgraduate medical education and program director for the anesthesiology residency training at the University of Calgary. She has a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calgary. She completed anesthesiology and internal medicine residencies at Queen's University and the University of Calgary and holds a Fellowship in Executive Leadership for Women from Drexel University College of Medicine as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University.
Dr. Todesco is currently a semi-retired academic physician and dispute resolution professional, and is still active in accreditation and other forms of service to the medical profession. She is also a member and costume manager for a local performance choir and travels the world in pursuit of her family's interest in diving.
